Northeast Iowa Steel Guitar Show

Please join us this September to enjoy an exciting event showcasing the steel guitar. Music genres played at the show typically include vocal and instrumental selections from classic country, western swing, big band swing, jazz, and gospel. By attending you will not only be able to enjoy listening and/or dancing to great music, but you will also find yourself making new friends and re-connecting with old friends and neighbors. That's why 'where no one is a stranger' is our motto.

The NISGS has had a very successful run since its beginning back in 1993 and the historic Electric Park Ballroom has been the beloved site for the show for the past 20 years. This year's location has changed to the all new Bien Venu Event Center in Cedar Falls. With the Holiday Inn & Suites connected to the event center, guests can listen to music without having to travel to a hotel. 

 

2019 has become a benchmark year for the NISGS, NISGS has decide to partner with the Shriners Hospital for Children.
